Laser Lipo Treatments – Low Prices, High Performance
Laser lipo treatments or laser lipolysis offers lower prices and certain advantages over surgical liposuction. Whereas the older and more invasive process uses a primarily mechanical action to achieve its goal, its modern derivative employs laser light that results in greater efficiency and far less discomfort.
For many who suffer cellulite or who may have struggled with dieting and exercise in attempts to rid themselves of double chins, love handles, unsightly thighs or excess tummy fat, these new treatments offer a fast and effective solution.
Virtually any affected area of the body may be treated although, being a somewhat milder treatment than surgical liposuction, it is not recommended for obese patients but rather for those with some specific problem areas that may need attention.
When comparing the two techniques, it becomes clear why laser lipo treatments, despite low prices cause less discomfort and produce far less bruising. During surgical liposuction, the surgeon inserts a cannula beneath the skin to penetrate the subcutaneous layer of fat and then proceeds to move the cannula back and forth to mechanically dislodge fat cells that are then vacuumed up.
By contrast, lipolysis uses an extremely fine cannula that carries an optical fibre to transmit the laser light. The cannula is guided through a tiny incision to the required areas and the heat of the laser beam vaporises the fat cells and the resulting liquid is easily aspirated. The lack of mechanical agitation means minimal bruising, swelling and discomfort while the small incision should leave no scar.
The process is performed under local anaesthesia and, usually, the patient can return to work on the following day without even a mild painkiller. Depending upon the extent of the treatment and the area treated, it may be necessary to provide support with a compression garment for a week or two.
Laser lipo treatments offers low prices and will definitely eliminate excess fat from those long-term problem areas but to maintain the results it’s advisable to adopt a healthier approach to one’s diet and a little exercise would not go unrewarded.
